The implosion of legacy media structures with the shift from top-down publishing and broadcasting to decentralized distribution, and the rise of audience-user as laborer have completely altered the terms of attention and cultural power.
This past Friday (18 Nov. 2022), Carly & Lil Internet delivered a keynote on this transition from linear to holographic media for the “Future of Criticism” congress organized by Kolja Reichart of the Bundeskunsthalle, Bonn and Angela Lammert of the Akademie der Künste, Berlin.
